Today, October 5, is World Teachers' Day. My husband PJ and I, though islands apart, will both be celebrating this day to honor all the teachers who have given, and continue to give so much of themselves to their students, and to our country.

This afternoon, I will be live-doodling all your #ThankYouTeacher tweets and posts, and they will be uploaded on DepEd's Facebook Page. Right now, PJ is hosting the celebration of World Teachers' Day in Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City! The theme for this year's celebration is "My Teacher, My Hero" and the event is in CDO to honor all the teachers who helped rebuild after the devastation of typhoon Sendong.
